  Best breakfast and lunch on the mountain. Everything is fresh and prepared one table at a time so you get personal meals just as if your own mom was cooking for you. Leave your cell in the car and enjoy great conversation and a relaxing atmosphere.

  It was snowing and I was cold. I wanted to stop in and get a warm drink and warm up before heading home. I ordered a hot chocolate and the guy said I couldn't drink it there, they needed the seats for diners. The place way 1/2 empty. I have been coming to Twain Harte since I was a kid and will continue to come long after this place is dust. The rudeness displayed by The Cottage Cafe is why I will never set foot in it again. This is not the Twain Harte way I grew up with and I will not patronize a business like this that is so impolite.

  We were a party of 8 and were denied service and were told that they don't take parties bigger that 6! I said that was fine and we could be 2 parties of 4 but were told that it was not possible and as long as we came together we couldn't eat there!
  Very rude and horrible customer service!!!
